Keto Bacon-Wrapped Chicken in Cheese Sauce
Ingredients
- 5 Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
- 10 pieces Bacon
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tsp Minced Garlic
- 1/4 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Add the oil to an oven-proof skillet over medium high heat on the stovetop.
- Season the chicken with the garlic powder, paprika and salt and pepper to taste, and then wrap each piece of chicken in two pieces of bacon.
- Place the chicken into the heated skillet, with the bacon seams pointing down.
- Saute for 2-3 minutes each side.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven, and bake for 20 minutes.
- Turn the broiler on high, and broil for a few minutes until the bacon is crispy.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet, and drain the extra oil and grease out.
- Return the skillet to the stovetop over medium heat.
- Add the butter and garlic, and saute for 1 minutes.
- Stir in the chicken broth and heavy whipping cream, as well as salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer until thickened.
- Mix in the cheese until completely melted.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, top with cheese sauce and serve.
