Keto Tuscan Sausage Skillet
Ingredients
- 24 ounces Fully Cooked Kielbasa Sausage sliced
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1/2 Onion chopped
- 2 tsp Garlic minced
- 1 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 1/4 cup Chopped Roasted Red Peppers
- 3 cups Fresh Spinach
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat, and saute the onions until softened.
- Mix in the minced garlic, and saute for another minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth, heavy whipping cream, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer until the mixture thickens.
- While the sauce is thickening, heat the sausage in a separate skillet over medium high heat until seared on both sides and heated through.
- Add the spinach to the sauce, and saute until wilted.
- Stir the sausage into the sauce, and mix to combine well.
- Let rest off of the heat for 5 minutes before serving.
